CEO

Evan Hansen, P.Eng., is 3D-P’s Chief Executive Officer.   As CEO, Evan is involved in the day-to-day operations of the company with all Executive Management reporting directly to him. He carries the vision of the Board of  Directors through to the Executive Management Team, and ensures proper execution of the Board’s directives.

Evan was the founding member of Evtech Solutions Ltd., which merged with 3D-P in 2006. Evan brings to 3D-P an extensive background in designing, integrating, and commissioning technology in the landfill and mining   industries. Evan is an Electrical Engineer, graduating with honors from the Technical University of Nova Scotia. He is also an alumnus of Acadia University’s Applied Science program.

Interests include anything related to Linux, dual sport motorcycles, and    chasing the perfect fly cast.

Ron White.

CTO

Ron White is 3D-P’s Chief Technology Officer. His duties include Product Management and Business Development.  Ron brings to 3D-P an extensive background in mining applications and field deployments.

Ron has been with 3D-P since 2004, and has helped drive the companies focus on wireless network design as well as the Intelligent Endpoint and mining application integration. Prior to working for 3D-P, Ron was Field Service Manager for Caterpillar’s CAES and Aquila products. He also worked at Empire Machinery during the first field trials of the Caterpillar CAES product and focused on creating Empire’s Technology Department for those new technologies..

A graduate of Eastern Arizona College, Ron is also USAF trained in electronics and radar systems.

Ron spends his free time chasing his kids in their Academic and Athletic adventures.  Ron is also a pilot and greatly enjoys building and flying Experimental Aircraft.

CFO

Patrick Hone is 3D-P’s Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Patrick provides leadership and coordination of the company’s international accounting, payroll, AR, AP, bookkeeping, financial planning, budgeting and management functions.

Patrick has over 25 years of progressive accounting experience and 15 years working with multinational companies. Patrick holds a BBA in Accounting from SAIT Polytechnic.

Interests include classic cars and anything in the back country of the Rocky Mountains.

David Fisk
Vice President, Sales and Marketing

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, David is responsible for sales strategy and execution globally. He builds on three decades of technology sales and execution working with some of the largest and most progressive companies as clients. David has an extensive background in network, asset management, engineering and real time data collection systems. He joined 3D-P as General Manager in 2013 and has filled the position of Vice President since mid-2015. Prior to 3D-P, David spent 10 years at Matrikon/Honeywell serving as Director Mining Solutions and has been working exclusively with the mining industry since 2007. He previously participated in the creation of a Global Account Management structure and operated a technology start-up.

David graduated with Honours with a BSc and completed post-graduate studies in business administration. He is a past president of Rotary and served as Treasurer on the Board of Director of the Guelph Community Health Centre for 6 years.

Outside interests include flying and spending time on the water.

VP, GM Australia

As 3D-P’s Vice President and General Manager of Australian operations, Mal oversees the company’s Australian division and has been responsible for 3D-P’s strong growth in the Asia Pacific region since 2009.   With over 30 years of industry experience in SCADA and communications for mission critical applications, Mal has been working for the last 15 years as a senior communications consultant delivering high reliability ICT solutions for mining and oil & gas customers.   He has been the lead consultant for major mining operators such as BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Xstrata and Newmont, delivering key architecture documents for standardization of technologies and design principals.

Mal gained his Electronic trade and Engineering qualifications through Box Hill TAFE and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and also graduated with Honors with a BA at Melbourne University

When not assisting his customers deploy and benefit from the best of breed technology solutions, Mal is an avid musician that also enjoys motocross riding, skiing and surfing.
